I bought this thinking that because a big company like Cicso and Linksys was behind this that support would be great. Well, I don't have my CD (lost it) and went to the web to download the driver. None to be found. Just a product page that says drivers and no drivers.
There was no noticeable difference between this device and a device that was three years older. All in all, a big disappointment.
The sensitivity is also lower than the internal cards of three different aforementioned computers. In my old XP laptop, my son's Vista Home Premium 32 bit laptop and my new Vista Home premium 64 bit OS laptop, the WEC600N did not connect at draft N speeds. The reason I'm complaining is simple; in 3 different computers the WEC600N connects at best at 802.11(b) speeds. On the plus side the installation is easy. In fact, before I wrote this I installed it again in our newest laptop with the same poor results.Using our Linksys Draft N router and a USB Draft N adapter I had a faster link speed on my XP laptop. Our other laptops have Draft N adapters as standard equipment. The size is conveniently compact. Here endeth the good news.Linksys replaced my first unit under warranty, and the replacement card was no better.

I'm using this product with my dell inspirion laptop. The installation instructions were simple and I was up and running with the network within 5 minutes and I would say I'm of intermediate skill when it comes to pc knowledge. I have had this product for a couple of weeks and have not had any problems.
